On this show I will play another selection from Secrets Of My Heart, an album released March 29th by our in studio guest last month, fantastic jazz pianist, vocalist, composer, and arranger Sarah McKenzie. How is this possible? I have not yet played the title track from this fabulous album. She wrote it and I'm playing it this week

Saxophonist Elan Trotman released a new album Dear Marvin - A Saxophone Tribute to Marvin Gaye. It is a cover with Trotman’s interpretation of Marvin Gaye’s best loved songs. The release date April 2nd was on what would have been Marvin Gaye’s 80th birthday. Marvin Gaye’s song Got To Give It Up has been a huge part of Trotman’s live shows the past few years and has always been a crowd favorite. Our first listen from Dear Marvin is Got To Give It Up.

February 22nd saw the release of two great albums from pianist Keiko Matsui and Grammy Award winning guitarist Norman Brown that have both already had songs from each reach Billboard’s number one. On  these two albums I have already played all the songs except for one each which I will play this week.

In the middle of the first hour I will play Billboard's top three songs in smooth jazz for this week. We have a new number one.

I have more new releases in hour one from John Novello, Marqueal Jordan, The Rippingtons, Lebron, and Nelson Rangell.

The second hour is devoted to smooth jazz classics. I have a beautiful duet from Michael Buble and Kelly Rowland, more Sarah McKenzie, Bob James, Basia, Dave Koz and much more.

Our classic among classics close will be from pianist David Benoit. You will hear work from the Peanuts franchise with Linus and Lucy and the story behind how he got that gig. I also have a song Benoit wrote for a President of the Philippines and the story of Benoit's wife's connection to that President.
