I would like to sincerely thank Dave Popp whose show Moody Richard is on this station every Saturday at 6:00 PM for giving our show a shout out on his show. If you missed Dave’s show last Saturday, I urge you to go to the KKRN.org website where you can play his show 24/7. Dave played some really good jazz and had interesting information on the origin of the song Breezin’ that later earned George Benson a Grammy. This was a very good show and I would hate for you to miss it.
This week marks the completion of one year that I have been doing this program. I have tried not to repeat songs except for our billboard top three. Breaking with this policy, I thought for this anniversary it would be fun to do a two week show playing for you again, one each, of my favorite song from each of the many smooth jazz artists I have featured on this program. This is the second of those two shows. Numbers missing were weeks I did not feature an artist. Further information on these talented musicians to enhance your enjoyment of the music are available on replays of the shows on The Smooth Side Of Jazz part of the KKRN.org website.
