We're into sports
Who Listens To the Radio - the Sports, off their 1979 album Don't Throw Stones. The Sports were fronted by Stephen Cummings, who is rated by many Australian music fans as being up there with Paul Kelly for the consistent excellence of his music, solo and with groups, over the years.
Superman - Amanda MacCallum, her debut single, which came out in 1972 and was written and produced by George Young and Harry Vanda of the Easybeats. The net is undecided about whether it’s MacCallum or McCallum.
Bowling Brings Out The Swinger In You - the Twilights. A radio jingle from 1967, commissioned to promote the sport of bowling. The Twilights were a successful and influential 1960s band and featured Glenn Shorrock (Little River Band) on vocals and Terry Britten (songwriter for Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and others) on guitar.
It’s A Long Way To the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll) - AC/DC, from their second album, titled T.N.T. when it was released in Australia and New Zealand in late 1975, renamed High Voltage and with other changes for its 1976 international release. It was produced by Harry Vanda and George Young, with guitars by George's brothers Malcolm and Angus. George reportedly said of his brothers: "All of a sudden the kid brothers were still the kid brothers... but my God, they knew how to play. There was no sort of, 'Do they have it or don't they have it?' It was obvious that they had something."
King Stingray
Young rock'n'rollers from northeast Arnhem Land, their songs have lyrics in English and Yolŋu Matha. Several of the band's founding members have relatives from renowned First Nations bands Yothu Yindi and Warumpi Band.We heard:
- Hey Wanhaka, a 2020 single and it was on their 2022 self-titled first album.

Guitar Hero
A new segment - our first player is Ed Kuepper, guitarist, singer, songwriter, founding member of the Saints, who left the band in 1978 and went off on his own. We heard three tracks from his catalogue:
- (When There's) This Party - from the album Everybody's Got To, released in 1988.
- The Way I Make You Feel - from his 1991 album Honey Steel's Gold.
Highway To Hell - from the 1995 album A King In the Kindness Room. AC/DC had some success with it in 1979.
