On Thursday July 19th and Tuesday July 24th, 2018 KKRN and the Scratched Up Players presented two monologues by local writers: "Production Quality" by Lauren Stanfield and "Drop Dead" by Ken Levens. The show was directed by Elsie Ritchie and hosted by Jim Dowling. Music featured "School Is In" by Gary U.S. Bonds.

Both of these remarkable one-woman plays were written by college students in Professor Jessica Wiechman's Shasta College course: Script Analysis And Playwriting. The course will be offered again in the Fall semester, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 to 1:45pm. Here is a photo of Jessica Wiechman and Rebecca Moseley recording their monologues in the KKRN Redding production studio.
