We need your help.  KKRN is a listener-supported and volunteer-based radio station. Our station relies on you, our listeners, to support us with a donation that fits your budget. We are asking for your help in raising the money we need to keep our good programs coming your way.  The KKRN Fall Pledge Drive is an excellent time to donate. Often some of our sponsors will match your donation. The Pledge Drive is Monday October 17th through Friday October 21st.  Phone calls will be directly answered by volunteers from 9 AM to 4 PM on those days. Please call 530-337-1885. You may also donate anytime 24/7 by going to our website, kkrn.org, and simply press the donate button. Your check to PO Box 188, Montgomery Creek, CA 96065 would be welcome or you can support KKRN by donating your old car, boat or RV. Call 855-500-7433 or go to careasy.org. You can also call 530-337-1101 to leave us a message. Thank you so much for whatever you can do to help KKRN stay afloat. We really appreciate your continuing support.

Also KKRN will have an all you can eat pancake breakfast Sunday October 23rd from 8:00 AM to 12 noon at the Mountain Community Center in Round Mountain. More details will be available on our website at KKRN.org. This is a really fun event. Hope to see you there.

This week marks the beginning of two weeks where the center of the Smooth Jazz universe moves 26 miles off the California coast to Catalina Island for the granddaddy of Smooth Jazz festivals, the 35th annual Catalina Island Jazz Trax Festival. 28 of the major artists and accompanying bands you hear on this program will be performing to enthusiastic sold out crowds for the next two weeks. This is certainly an event to put on your bucket list.

September 23rd a fabulous album titled Detour was released from the Smooth Jazz artist with the most number ones, sixteen of them, superstar saxophonist Boney James. We will play a selection weekly from this album.

Thank you for your continuing support of KKRN and of this program.
